You do not know what arrangement he had with his fiancee. It is safe to say that after a woman has been engaged to the same guy for two years, and there are wedding or even no wedding plans, the chick should move on. Eight years is rather long for any sort of credible engagement.
What it sounds like is the fiancee was a beard, rather than a real, actual, credible fiancee.
What he did surely took more guts than anything you or any other self proclaimed christian. It is not easy for a pro athlete to come out of the closet, and harder for a Black guy than a White one.
If you don't respect him, you can do that. The results are about those that would result from Tiger Woods eating half a banana.

Actually the nonsense here is "embracing" this fella who actually committed adultery, and to boot, was NOT the 1st major pro-athlete to "come out", (Glenn Burke from the LA Dodgers was) warranting an actual phone call by the President of the U.S., when none of the families who lost loved ones in Benghazi, Americans trying to defend this country, if not represent it, got nary a whiff of a text message from the President.
That's the "nonsense" in play here

Adultery is hardly what you call stepping out on a fiancee. You have to be married to commit adultery. I suppose you could call it "fornication". It should be a given that adults over 20 years old are going to have some form of sex life, married or not.
If you don't think he is a hero, you do not have to believe it. The President has the right to make calls to whomever he chooses.

I would.....cheating is cheating, and provides all the amount of "character" this fella has for all to see. Not to mention he wasn't the 1st to "come out", though the President and his cool-aide drinking buddies cont the charade that he was. And of curse the President can call who ever he wants......no one claimed he couldn't. The issue was about priorities, of who he calls vs who he doesn't. ::)

Ok....let me get this straight. A washed up NBA player comes out of the homo closet and says he's gay. He gets a call from our President commending him for such a "courageous act".....but a black man in Cleveland aides in the rescue of three girls being held captive, the guy is even refusing the reward money saying it should go to the girls and not a freaking call or peep out of our moron President. Some message our leader sends!
