The first photos of Gabrielle Giffords were released this morning.
It is a miracle how this brave woman survived this nightmare attack.
Gabby is an inspiration to all who struggle with traumatic injuries, & to all Americans.
Prayers go out to Gabby & her husband Mark for what we all know is a very challenging recovery.

She was shot in the face. They seem to have done a great job of restoring her face to a normal appearance.

I hope she has a full recovery.

Phenomenal good news!
It is pretty rare that such a serious injury to the brain is survived at all , time will tell how much return to normalcy is acheived.

How much the brain can recover is amazeing and little understood.
