You claim you are all for personal freedom, yet you want the government to prohibit people from getting married because YOU are hung up on a word.
Even if it is not hatred, it is stupidity. Why should you care whether Adam and Steve have a license from the government?

Do you think the gvt should license 3 men and 14 women getting married as one unit?

Do you think the gvt should license a man and a dog getting married?

Because definitions mean something, and because some words are sacred.  As a result, your notion of hatred is blown out of the water, when your guy Obama had the same position.  And your idea of stupidity is also blown out of the water, since I could care less if they get a license or not, so no one is preventing that either.  Call it a Civil Union....call it a Gayrriage....call it whatever you want, but marriage is between a man and a woman....period

The thing is Professor, I know why folks like yourself, are hung up on trying to redefine marriage.  It's just pathetic how you and your ilk can't be honest about it.
