The US Attorney for Central Florida, since the Justice Department is involved. I'd have news teams live covering the surrender. And if i were his attorney i would pledge to use the reward money to defend his client against this rush to judgment.

The New Black Panthers is an unknown outfit that doesn't have $10,000. This is just a publicity stunt to recruit members, since they know that they can get tons of free publicity. There is no law against offering a reward for information about anything.

If Zimmerman and his family have any sense at all and understand how high profile stories like this work, at this very moment, Zimmerman is settling in to his new digs in San Chirindongo de las Iguanas, or some other teensy  pueblecito high up in the Andes, where the only communication with the outside world is a weekly bus, if the rivers aren't running too high. Zimmerman's mother is from Peru. Life in small Peruvian villages is really, really cheap. You can probably get by easily on $25 a week for room, board, laundry and beer.

The New Black Panther Party has offered a $10,000 reward for the arrest of George Zimmerman.

"We are saying to George Zimmerman, 'You will have no peace. You will have no sleep,'" said Mikhail Muhammad, of the New Black Panther Party. "We are calling for the mass mobilization of 10,000 black men in the states of Florida, Georgia and Alabama to search for George Zimmerman, to capture him and to determine justice for George Zimmerman."

The group gathered outside of the Retreat at Twin Lakes where Trayvon Martin, 17, was killed by Zimmerman, a self-proclaimed Neighborhood Watch block captain.

Residents watched from behind the gate, and some drivers gave a thumbs-up in support of their efforts.

"The next step is we want to take him to the federal authorities, and we want him to be arrested and detained," Muhammad said.

The NBP does not have the authority to capture Zimmerman legally.

Zimmermans Attorney does have the authority to orchestrate a "surrender"

but Zimmerman could probably sue them afterwards for false arrest, hostage taking, & harassment.

This group has no intention of capturing Zimmerman or paying a bounty. They are using right wing reactions to generate free publicity for themselves.

Perhaps I just missed it, but where's the condemnation from.....anyone in the Media, or from this Administration??  Isn't this 180 degrees contrary to Obama's notion of trying bring us together, and not stoke this overt racial animosity, being pushed by not just the NBP, but by Rev Sharpton & JJ??
