Conrad Burns--

Running for: U.S. senator, Montana / YouTube cameo: Not one, but three well-watched clips — posted by Arrowhead77, a campaign staffer for Burns' Democratic opponent, Jon Tester — capture the Republican incumbent napping in the Senate chambers, calling taxi drivers terrorists and hinting that he hired an illegal immigrant, whom he refers to as a "little Guatemalan." / Views as of Fri. : 127,322 for all three videos / Fallout: Burns lost his comfortable lead last fall over his links to convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff, and the YouTube videos have helped Tester remain competitive in a tightening race.

George Allen--

Running for: U.S. senator, Virginia / YouTube

cameo: Speaking directly to the face — and camera — of an Indian American working for Democratic challenger Jim Webb, the Republican incumbent called the young man "macaca," a racial slur meaning monkey. / Views as of Fri.: 277,185 / Fallout: Despite claiming that "macaca" was a botched attempt to say "Mohawk," a haircut style similar to the Webb campaign aide's, Allen has seen a double-digit lead fade.

Y'all have probly seen this one-Knute

Joe Lieberman--

Running for: U.S. senator, Connecticut / YouTube cameo: Two videos show a parade of classic Lieberman moments. Included are faux right-wing pundit Stephen Colbert's praise of the then-Democratic senator and images of Lieberman clapping for and receiving a kiss from President Bush. Both were posted weeks before the Democratic primary. / Views as of Fri.: 64,438 for both videos / Fallout: Lieberman lost the primary to Ned Lamont on Aug. 8, but now is running as an independent and reaping the benefits of YouTube — his "Soothing" campaign ad has nearly 80,000 views but only half as many as Lamont's most popular ad.

This one as well.- Knute

Tramm Hudson--

Running for: U.S. House of Representatives, Florida, 13th District / YouTube cameo: Three users posted the same video of the Republican candidate saying that "blacks are not the greatest swimmers." One juxtaposed the clip with images of African Americans wading through Hurricane Katrina's waters; another added video of prize-winning black swimmers. / Views as of Fri.: 13,951 for the three videos / Fallout: Hudson's comments landed the once-obscure politician on "Comedy Central"; he lost his primary weeks after the videos were posted.

Bob Corker--

Running for: U.S. senator, Tennessee / YouTube cameo: Without YouTube, a Republican National Committee-sponsored ad featuring a flirtatious blond asking Corker's opponent, Democratic Rep. Harold Ford Jr., to call her probably would have been seen only in Tennessee. But once it was posted on the website, the pro-Corker spot sparked a nationwide controversy. / Views as of Fri.: 226,668 / Fallout: Despite having ignited a debate on what's racist and what's just sleazy, the ad hasn't led to a big fallout for Corker, who leads in the latest polls.

Ditto for the dittoheads- Knute
