Political Redefinitions
« on: February 11, 2013, 02:52:23 PM »
From the politian that gave us perhaps our worst, most egregious, ignorant soundbite of all time.  It's not Global Warming, it's "Climate Change".

Now, it's not a spending problem, its.....a......Budget Deficit problem

In One Interview, Nancy Pelosi Says We Don't Have A Spending Problem Twice

With the strange twist that it's the wrecklessly irresponsible out of control spending causing the budget deficit

The problem is due to less money coming in as revenue due to so many people out of work, and more money being spent in unemployment and for benefits because, once again, so many people are out of work.

The SPENDING problem is also due to paying for two wars and stupid Juniorbush's tax cuts.

So, Pelosi is correct and the right is, as ever wrong, wrong, wrong.

And the current policies that remain, and still more put in place, that perpetuate the chronic unemployment & the stagnant recovery caused primarily from the housing collapse, excessive government intervention via Fannie & Freddie, and now made to continue with even higher taxes on the job creators

Bravo

Your effing "job creators" were given four years to create jobs. They did diddley.

The whole "job creator" bit was nonsense.

And it still is. Cleverly investing money in stocks and bonds can yield more in profits than starting a company and hiring people, and that is what these people actually do.

Because of the damn overreaching regulations and policies in place and the overwhelming uncertainty of what the tax situation was going to be, by your effing DC Dematwits.  There's a lot of folks sitting on a lot of money, but would be foolish to invest, if they all of a sudden have these massively higher tax liabilities.  Companies are shutting down, and more people are being let go, PRECISELY of what's coming out of DC

The nonsense is thinking the Government has little to do with the current economic disaster we're currently in, and the Greece-like spending, that's going to send this country into ruin

Cleverly investing money in stocks and bonds can yield more in profits than starting a company and hiring people, and that is what these people actually do.

Not everyone can invest in stocks.  In fact, most of the poor can't.  The poor rely on JOB CREATORS.  And the Job Creators are not about to, with the massive blanket of economic uncertainty & higher taxes that DC is aiming at them

I am not talking about the poo investing in stocks, dummy. I am saying that the people who are making $250K and up per year can invest in the stock market or a lot of other things and make as much as if they hired employees. And that is what they do. Cut their taxes to zero and they would still do the same.

People who want to start a business, do so,and those who find other ways of investing their money do that.

a lousy 4% more on taxes over $250K would not prevent many people from starting businesses. Taxes are a very minor issue, and a 4% tax on profits is a very minor tax. This is just a stupid myth that ratbag rightwing candidates looking for more donations claim to get paid.

They had 4 years without the tax, and they did not hire many people.

You know C, there are alot of REALLY bad politicians, that somehow keep getting relected, but one has to consider their "base" and base of operations I guess.  Maxine Waters jumps to the top of most rationally minded folks.

But between Biden & Pelosi, they really are far and ahead the top of the list as it relates to sheer ignorance, if not idiocy.  Bidin wins on the quantity of the ignorant and moronic statements to date, but I don't think anyone beats Pelosi on the quality of her ignorance

And the scary part is one wants to be President in 4years, and the other wants to be Speaker of the House.  Greece is starting to look pretty good in comparison to what's happening here

You know diddly about Greece. You don't know much about this country, either.

Stupid is a national party that allows some nut to argue with an empty chair, spouting all manner of inananities.

Stupid is the Republican Party that tells us that Romney ois the all-conquering capitalist genius hero in October and ignores his sorry ass totally in December.
