Thanks...I've been lurking now and then but mostly devoting time to family.  It's good to see there are still some loyal followers here. Funny how the issues and arguments haven't seemed to change at all over the years. I guess it's true that the older we get, the more set we are in our ways.

Now I wouldn't completely agree with that.  I used to be a rabid partisan conservative, but my positions on a host of issues have softened, such as support for civil unions, and the ok for abortion if the life of the mother is at risk.  But I can agree that the older we get, the more "stubborn" we can become    ;)    Good to seeyas lurking, and my prayers for you and some serious quality family time

Lol....thanks, guys.

I can't guarantee that I'll post much but I do need to get myself back into shape in terms of understanding more about current events - and Debategate was always the best place for that.

My ears were burning so I thought I would check in.  Sure enough, my name was mentioned in a post with a long time friend.
I do miss some of the times from time back.  Sad thing, life is so busy that I have little time for debating. 
One day, I will be retired and this will be a daily event for me, along with my turbo wheelchair and my partner in crime, ItsZep.   ;D
