Voter fraud is not a serious problem. The GOP is simply doing everything it can to prevent those who oppose it from voting. There have been conversations recorded among GOP perps who have discussed this.  The GOP does not want Blacks, Hispanics or the poor voting.

  That is not true.

There is a lot of voter fraud, without IDs it is unmeasureable.

The Republicans want the informed voter, the motivated voter, the kind that will read several information sources and stand in line in the rain to cast his vote, are people who say that black people are not motivated voters exhibiting racism?

The Democrats are a lot less discriminating, to be a typical Dem voter it is not required that the voter read much, bother himself to get an id ,or have a pulse.

Being black is no issue, Republicans would like it fine if black people were doing well enough to vote for Republicans.

Poor people often do not have drivers licenses. Here in FL it is frequent that they have a license, and drive without insurance. Being Black, they get pulled over much more often than White people. And their licenses are confiscated their cars are towed off to  Mafioso tow lots where they are charged $50 a day to park the car in a muddy field twenty miles from the nearest bus stop.

That evil bastard Rick Scott, who I just voted against, has done everything possible to prevent minty people from voting.

That would not work.

That would just motivate someone to get an id and vote, it would not be effective.

The real concern is graveyard voting and denying the rights of citizenship to the dead is a thing up with which no Democrat shall put!

How many forms of ID are accepted?

How much less would it cost the Dems or the State to ensure that ID was easily available than it costs to defend the rights of zombies to vote?

Again. voter fraud was very, very rare, and was NOT the reason they went after voter ID in Florida.

Voter Fraud is very very common right now, and Florida is exactly where effective voting process ought to be valued.

Facilitation of genuine voters I cannot object to , organizations that ensure that voters are registered , informed , even providing bus rides to the polls  are laudable.  Even if they are motivated by Issues I disagree with them about , laudable.

But legislators that are trying to make cheating impossible to prevent are not looking after minorities nor the poor, they are looking out for themselves.

That is  TOTAL BULLSHIT!

There has not been one single story about this in months.

Tye last one I read was about a Cuban woman who turned in a bunch of fraudulent absentee ballots from old people in a home. That was MONTHS AGO.

Pends doesn't it?

Mostly on who you listen to.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2014/08/06/a-comprehensive-investigation-of-voter-impersonation-finds-31-credible-incidents-out-of-one-billion-ballots-cast/

This guy can only find thirty one cases nationwide, but then he says "so far" I think this guy is a weasel pretending that if he doesn't know about it , it didn't happen. Obviously he did not look in North Carolina.

N.C. found more than 36000 cases in their own system.http://www.newsmax.com/US/Carolina-voter-fraud-zombies/2014/04/03/id/563542/

If you don't like ID cards being used for voting, do you also dislike ID cards being required for Drivers, recipients of government benefits , and gun carriers?

Are the poor and minorities being denied their civil rights by being unable to cash a check without presenting an ID?

I got no idea what are all the factors for not getting an id but some are just crazy. did you know parents reffuse to get their kids state id`s because home schools kids who register tend to get visit from child protection service due to lack of records normally coming from traditional school. to avoid that hassel they delay the id till the kid is 18yrs old.

Is this a significant voting demographic?

There may be good reason to make IDs easier to get.
Modern computing should make it easier than ever to make certain that people don't sign up for two ballots or sixteen Social Security checks.

I understand going off the grid, but people who go off the grid should accept the bad with the good that results.

I`ve always had the impression home school can`t be done with the majority of families since it requires one person to stay at home and that`s simply a added workload most can`t afford. also the factor it requires a parent to be a real teacher. not exactly something all people are qualified to do.

I would say that perhaps one in a dozen homeschooled students get as good an education as they would get at a public school.
They will miss out on learning social skills that they will probably need later in life.

that`s the rub social skills is such an abstract ability that people could easily brush aside as unimportant such as communication which is a overlapping skill. the disadvantage I see is lack of knowing how the outside world works. ex. waking up in the morning. did you know home school kids tend to follow their own time schedule and lot of them do not wake up early like the rest of us. so in college the transition wakeup is abit rougher for them.
