Although he is having fun calling it bullshit, I didn't even see him try to refute the facts stated in the tiny clips he played.

Is it John Stewarts contention that 0% of the poor are causing their own problems?
Is he trying to say that Fox News claims the poor are all alike?

John Stewart will simplify the facts till they are funny, and this is ok, except for the people who consider him a primary source.

The comedy is good , the facts are shaky.

He has the Fox fools dead to rights: they deny saying that poor people are lazy, worthless sponges, then he shows the same idiots saying what they have denied in exactly the same words.

Nope, Fox news does not deny calling some people lazy.

They deny that they call them all lazy or have a "narrative" in which all of the poor are creating all of their own problems.

Unless you are willing to say that NONE of the poor have bad habits that aggravate SOME of their problems you have to admit that Fox has a point.

The real disagreement is whether or not the government is making some of these problems worse by indulging bad habits and cheating.

Yeah, they have all been corrupted by giving them free telephones.

It is not possible for any company or any government or any organization to be 100% free of corruption at some level.

But Fox uses this crap as their main focus, and distorts reality to a point of being unrecognizable.

There is no bingo., you dolt.

You are the one that said Bingo.  You are always the one that says bingo.

Which demonstrates once again, this obsession you have trying to use me to avoid addressing the point that facilitated my compliment

and there is no bingo.

Irrelevant, since the point that Plane made remains spot on, that instead of you focusing on that, instead, trying to make this about me.  You need help

I don't think free telephones are a cause of laziness.

I know that if you have no phone, you won't be getting  any job you applied for. I know that phone records are a type of data that employers use to determine the stability of a prospective worker. If you get your phone cut off regularly, it is like a credit report in that it is often used to deny a person a job.

NEWS FLASH.....THERE ARE NO "FREE TELEPHONES"  Someone has to pay for them, and that is WE, the tax payers.  The idea that they "need" them, does not equate that they have a right to them, no more than they have a right to a tax payer payed car, or tax payer payed home.  They obviously "need" those things as well in order to "progress".  If I didn't have a phone, I'd just have to drive myself to the place I applied to now, wouldn't I, and explain that I hope to get this job, so I can pay for my own phone, and not be a burden to you, the tax payer

XO but couldn't you say the same thing about a lot of things?

If you don't have any clothes you will not get the job.
So should the gvt provide "free" clothes too?

If you don't have a house or apt you will not get the job.
So should the gvt provide "free" apartments and homes too?

If you don't have shoes you will not get the job.
So should the gvt provide "free" shoes too?

I have hired several people that don't have a cell phone.
They use their parents phone, a friend's phone, a spouse phone, a relative phone as the contact number.

It's probably futile to explain that to him, C.  But excellent effort
