« on: February 02, 2010, 05:24:57 AM »
"Wachovia" Not  my favoriate bank, my experience with them includes their applying fees to small accounts I had opened for my children untill they were negtive balence.
It would not surprise me if I were given a bill for useing the air in their building .

Well, they're keeping the Wachovia name on the east coast. "Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Bank" is the official name.

Don't let the fact that I work for them at the moment stop you from complaining.

Concur with consensus.  I call them "Walk-all-ova-ya."

Yeah, I've been calling them that since they stole a deposit from me about '83-84. Account was closed not long after.

My personal experience has been that for me, a credit union is better than a Savings and Loan, and a Savings and Loan is better than a "full service bank", in interest paid, convenience, services and competence.

I have had a checking account with a church-related CU for 20 years and they have never made an error.

Yup, I deal exclusively with credit unions and have for many years now.

When it comes to loans of any kind I use my credit union. Wachovia is just a checking account and one of several savings accounts. I don't have any CD's or anything there.
