Taleban background

This seems like a very likely thing to me , Packistan has a long standing history of involvement in Afganstan often by aiding a favoriate party there.

During the fight with the USSR they did exactly that ,and denyed it just as firmly as they do now. There my be some important cross border freindships remaining from those days connecting important Taliban figures with Pakistani government agents and officials.

Seeming likely isn't proof , but it may be reason to look deeper.
