It's actually VERY bad. Yes, folks like Kimba, were able to obtain insurance that under the previous arrangements, were not very plausible. We COULD have had Congress, led by by the Democrats work on reforming the current healthcare system to fix that. But instead, we threw it out, despite the absolute pledge, that not only would anyone who still wanted their insurance and doctor, could keep them, but that premiums would come DOWN, as would the debt. And people bought that twisted math
I'm dealing with the repercussions, as we speak, as more and more people are either thrown off the insurance, they were promised they could keep, or dealing with double if not triple their premiums, including areas of coverage, they don't even want.
Yes, it helped a small fraction of the population......by screwing the vast majority. And that's why the people of this country are going to revoke the Democrats' legislative power come tomorrow evening.
Ball will then be in the GOP's court, to actually legislate, and pass common sense reforms, without throwing gasoline on the fire.
Then Obama will be historically remembered as either:
Universally regarded as a political success, President Clinton, working with the GOP, to find common ground, such as welfare reform,
or
will be be the ultimate do nothing, stomp-his-feet, & cry like a baby, lame duck President, because the GOP won't pass any more of his leftist agenda, and just keep going outside his constitutional authority with executive action after executive action after executive action...starting with the vast majority UNSUPPORTED plan to give amnesty to millions who broke our immigration laws
