"Enemy Mine" could be squished in there.

Excellent movie. An untypical scifi in that it explored human/alien cultures/personalities and such as opposed to just special effrts.

Pretty Much, which includes Matrix as #1.  I did love the added comments of how it spun off 2 crappy sequels, but the original was awesome.  I do disagree for not adding the original Star Wars in this list.  The opening sequence of the Star Destroyer taking up the entire screen as it chased Leia's crusier should have made it a cinch top 10    :-\

I really liked Buck Rogers in the 20th Century. It was really hilarious and didn't seem to take itself too seriously.

Do you agree with their assessment?

Nope. Firefly should be near the top, and B5 should be just below it. X-Files and Quantum Leap could be dropped. Enemy Mine should be on there, too.

And, don't forget the classics such as probably one of the greatest scifi movies of all time -- The Forbidden Planet. And then, the original War of the Worlds was beyond superb. And, finally When Worlds Collide, remember that one?

Well, when you steal the story from the Bard, you gotta have a hit.
