And it ain't pretty.

This guy believes whatever the Pope tells him, and apparently believes in magical clothing as well.

What a yutz. I think he may have latent gay tendencies, like Michelle Bachmann's hubby.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, if he ever gets around to admitting it.

Frosty had a magical tophat, Rick Santorum has a magical lucky, allbeit ugly, sweater vest.

He is not a yutz because he wears a sweater vest, he is a yutz because he is a grown adult man who believes that it will cause him to win an election. He believes in magic.

Do you think we should elect some guy who believes in magic?

I mean, sure, Frosty the Snowman had his magical top hat, but he was a TOON!

Santorum hates gays, he opposes all abortions, he is a guy who overdosed on parochial school. At best, he might be elected with those views in rural Portugal, but not in the US and not to the presidency.

Santorum joked about his sweater vest being magic. He came out of nowhere to practically win the caucus, and there is talk he actually did.

He does not hate gays, he is against gay marriage and there is a world of difference between the two statements. You know that, so do I. Let's not lie about the man.

He goes to Sunday Mass. Big deal. You don't . Big deal

What businesses is it of his whether gays marry or not?

I think it would be EXCELLENT if he got the nomination. His time has passed. He is a dinosaur. The Tyrannosaurus
is no longer a Rex. He would be defeated by President Obama. If he is the candidate, there will be a lot of votes going to the Libertarian candidate rather than to Santorum.

I agree that the family structure in the US has disintegrated. This has occurred because both the husband and wife must work, and advertising and the media have changed the expectations of the younger people of what a family should be. Santorum wants to bring back some sort of XIX Century Papa knows best Sicilian family structure. No president has any hope of doing that. Beating up on gays certainly won't work.

Note that Reagan did not bring back the 1950's. Time is linear, and does not flow backwards.

And as a side note Santorum's views on gay marriage are the same as Obama's.

I'm still curious what this source is that validates the asanine notion that Santorum would "have gays arrested and jailed if he could get away with it"
