I can tell you right now, unequivocally, that I can see no such basis for any claim of American moral superiority over UN forces.  So that if there is a basis for any such claim, it will have to come from someone other than myself.

Most of your virulent posts on this board originate from a position of assumed moral superiority.

So what?  It sure doesn't take a saint to be morally superior to the Bush administration.  Any normal sane person with a modicum of basic decency IS morally superior to them and to all of their supporters.

Except that you post from a position of assumed moral supeiority over most other people in the world, not just the Bush administration.

Ludicrous bullshit.  Proving nothing more than your own warped perception that "most other people in the world" must be right-wing crypto-fascist morons.  I certainly do not assume any moral superiority over XO, Brass, Knute, hnumpah, terra, Lanya, domer, Crane and many posters in this group, let alone over Noam Chomsky, Ralph Nader, Cindy Sheehan, Jane Fonda, Rosa Parks, Leon Trotsky, Marx, Lenin, Winston Churchill, FDR, Fidel Castro, Ho Chi Minh and millions of others.  Nothing I ever posted could possibly justify such asinine allegations.

*snicker*....given the vast # of names produced to try and make a point, and given the ominous ommissions, it does appear that Tee does proclaim a moral superiority over ....... just about anyone that leans right in their ideology.     :P

And posters here and people on the right-wing don't post with a sense of moral superiority?

Not that I'm aware of, here in the saloon.  Care to provide some examples, if you feel differently?

Sure.

When you accuse a poster of supporting communism/socialism (which you tend to combine, but are really two distinct philosophies), do you not do so from a belief in the moral superiority of your view of capitalism?

When you post about Islam, do you view Muslims as morally equivalent?

Some of your (and others) posts towards Lanya and Knute aren't exactly the most friendly. Are they posted with respect of moral equivalence?

Well, in terms of Lanya and Knute, it's more of a "response in kind."

Well, you sure got that right.  If I didn't feel morally superior to them, I'd have joined up with them a long time ago.  I don't like to pay taxes any more than they do, I just know my obligations a little better.

No

Absolutely

Lanya at one time was much more objective and willing to acknowledge when she was indeed getting hyperbolic.  Now we get Republicans want women to die of cancer, in which she apparently stands by it.  And knute.....well let's just say his hateful bile keeps getting a complete pass by folks like yourself.  Why is that, I have to wonder
