Folks, in just 5 years, or less, your country won't look anything like it did in 2008. Our government owns our banks and GM, spending is totally out of control and our medical will be rationed by the government. Now our police departments will be infested with gangsters. The end is coming pretty fast.

Now police departments want to get rid of tests so more undereducated people can be hired. This is insane!

The Chicago Police Department is seriously considering scrapping the police entrance exam, sources tell Fran Spielman.

Dropping the exam would bolster minority hiring and avert legal battles, according to one source, while others confirm that the exam could be scrapped to open the process to as many people as possible.

However, the lack of an exam would make Chicago the lone major city without one, and experts contend that the exam is integral to eliminating unqualified applicants.

Five years from 2008, I'm sure the U.S.A. will look pretty much as it does today and as it did fifteen years ago.

However, here's a guy who thinks that in about ten or fifteen years from now, you really will see a very different U.S.A. :

INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT re:  Chalmers Johnson: “Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic”

<<That is, the only way—you’ve got to reconstitute the constitutional system in America, or it is over.   . . . once you go in the direction of empire, you ultimately lead to overstretch, bankruptcy, coalitions of nations hostile to your imperialism. We’re well on that route.>>

Read the transcript of the whole interview.  It's two years old, but this guy really has a handle on change.

There's change, largely cosmetic, but not radical change.
