If everyone that had income below poverty level didn't mind the liberal baggage voted for Edwards he could have a whopping 6%.

If every one that was poor voted for Edwards he could get 12%.

Seems as if he could afford to buy a clue.

I realize that this is hard to comprehend, but there *are* still 44 states left.
If nothing else, he's siphoning votes from Obama. I hope he stays in just for that reason!  ;)

Is Democratic excellence good for Republicans?

I would say that it is , like athletes faceing stiff competition , the Republican party will train harder and work smarter to compete better with excellent competition.

Too bad there is so little.
