Most of the bad press that Amedinejad gets is Israeli propaganda and not to be taken seriously.

Israel got its butt whipped by Hezbollah and it pissed them off immeasurably.

Columbia's President was just doing what college presidents always do: raising funds for Columbia by currying favor with his major contributors.

The Holocaust is past history and debating it is only of academic interest to anyone.

The Palestinians were innocent victims of the Holocaust, because without the Holocaust, the Zionists would never have been permitted to inhabit Israel.

Grabbing a couple dozen hostages at the embassy is against international law, but a lot less serious in scope than overthrowing Mossadeagh in 1951 and replacing him with the vicious little Shah Pahlevi for 24 years.

I was not aware that two wrongs make a right. Also, if you apply this as your standard, then EVERY embassy has reason to be afraid of being overwhelmed based upon some wrong in the past. Illogical.

Now you are a Vulcan?

I did not say that it was my justification. It was however, the Iranian's justification.

Kissinger was plotting to replace the dying Shah with someone else just like him in 1977. The staff at the embassy were instrumental in his plans to put a guy named Baktiar in charge of Iran.

==========================================
By the way, you are the clown that wants to blow up Teheran with nukes.
You appear to ooze vengeance and retribution from every pore. Every solution to every international problem you claim you want to resolve with violence, usually nuclear violence.

And I doubt that the Swedish or Danish embassies would have much to fear. Kidnapping embassy staffs has not occurred anywhere since 1977, by the way.

Force can be an effective solution once diplomacy has failed. But, if you deploy it, in order to be effective, you must pursue it ruthlessly. You pursue and kill your enemy only because he is your enemy, not because you hate him. He is an obstacle in the way of your Objective.

Tell you what: gimme ninety days with 'em and I'll make REAL MEN out of them. Homosexuality cna be trained out of them. Go ahead and tell me it cannot be done but I've seen it happen.

First, you confront them phyiscally. After that, thier respect for both me and themsleves is bolstered.

Again, takes aorund ninety days, no holds barred.

Someone is repressing his high score on the Kinsey scale.
I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.
They're only dropping peppermints and daisy-chains
So stuff my nose with garlic
   Coat my eyes with butter
   Fill my ears with silver
   Stick my legs in plaster
   Tell me lies about Vietnam.

I score a 0 as you should. Anything else is a waste.

You don't have to be defensive. I'm not judging you.

So you like watching Johnny Depp a little more than the other guys at the cinema? It's your life my friend.

Actually, I grew up with Robert Mitcheum, Jimmy Stewart, Errol Flynn, Howard Keel, Roy Rogers, Clint Walker, John Wayne, Burt Lancaster, etc.

Always liked men who acted like men --- aggressive but sensitive to the ladies.

Johnny Depp acted like a f$##*g in those movies. I would have preferred Viggo Mortensen.

Winds of War and War & Remembrance: great movies.

So you're more of the feminine guy looking for the man in the relationship?  :P

Huh? Talking nonsense?

Naw, a man in the movies who take things into his own hands and solves the issues of the day.

Plus, didn't Johnny Depp recently make some anti-American statements? I am not partial to actors who do that. That is why George Clooney makes my stomach crawl.
