Trump better hurry and get the wall built
because as he gets more and more companies to stay put in the US
where do you think all the amigos are going to try to move to
as Mexico is halted from stealing our manufacturing plants?

How is he going to get Mexico to pay for it? ???

How is he going to get Mexico to pay for it? ???
actually pretty easily...it can be done various ways...through better trade deals, etc...

What's the first thing Obama does when he leaves the White House?
Well build a wall to protect his family of course!
Taking a cue from Donald Trump ...
Obama is building himself a wall around his new house.

That's a little too vague I'm afraid.....especially to U.S. tax payers. We're going to need to see a better dot connection, as in these trade deals will generate $x, that will be y% devoted to wall building, which will cost $z. That's what the people who voted for him, are going to need to see
-
Frankly I don't give a shit who pays for it (but am VERY confident Mexico will)
Worst case...I'd say...lets pull out of Europe and Asia if that's what it takes to pay for it
Our country is under siege at our borders currently and that is certainly more important than anything overseas
-
I don't have a problem with the U.S. paying for it either.....it needs built.....simply that he'll be eviserated for failing to come thru on his biggest campaign promise. It'll be his "You can keep your Doctor" moment. That's why I'm hoping that they nip that in the bud, by providing what I outlined above, that demonstrates how exactly "Mexico is paying for the wall"
-
he'll be eviserated
oh the globalist may howl...but they were gonna howl no matter what he does
they have a diminish America agenda to try and preserve
but this guy isn't like anybody else and neither are a lot of his supporters
he really, really, really doesn't give a shit about "eviscerated"
and it's obvious a lot of supporters dont either
because BOTH parties threw everything in their evil bag of tricks at him
and NONE of it worked....the people see whats more important
-
no, I'm referring to many of those that took him for his word, who will be howling as well

Q:
How much money does the U.S. give to Mexico?
A:
The U.S. Government gave a total of $209 million to Mexico in 2012:
The aid was broken down in the following manner:
http://us-foreign-aid.insidegov.com/q/112/1590/How-much-money-does-the-U-S-give-to-Mexico
I think a reduction of aid would count, perhaps a tax on remittances, an increased tariff..... there are handles on that money.
It may be offered as an option to allow Mexican contractors to build it , because the Mexican government can hire them at lower wages than we can, and Mexico can use the discount.
-

I respectfully disagree
sure not everyone is going to cheer...
but when does that ever happen anyway
I think most supporters...like me....
realize this is a complete "Code Blue Massive Bleedout"
this is an emergency
and it really doesn't matter who pays for what when you are literally bleeding out
what matters is to get the dang thing built...and stop the bleed
as long as he keeps his word to STOP the non-sense...stop the invasion...who pays wont matter

What would be the result of a firmer border?
Higher wages on the low end?
More expensive tomatoes and onions?
Less accessibility of car parts?
Harder to find good home repair contractors?

I think C, you're overestimating Trump's support base. I'd opine that a minimum of a third, if not a majority of those who voted for him, voted to stop Clinton (& Obama's continued socialist agenda), more so than supporting Trump. As such, if he's going to pull an Obama, and immediately step away of his campaign pledges, with the media painting him as liar in chief, he's going to embolden Democrats on the fence, to join in the obstruction bandwagon, and have that famous promise that "Mexico will pay for it", wrapped around his neck as his You can keep your doctor albatros
I want him to succeed. I hope he comes thru with good leadership and judgement. His present cabinet picks and VP pick give me goose bumps at the potential of excellence. I'm just trying to say, that if he comes across as so callous to those that voted for him, it's going to be a long 4 years for him, and this country

If Trump removes jobs from Mexico, there will be more Mexicans unemployed and therefore more will likely try to get into the US.
The wall is too expensive. Mexico will never pay for it. Not now, not later, not ever.
Why the Hell should they? Would Americans pay for a wall on the Canadian border designed to keep them out?

oh booo who we would just collapse without the poor uneducated needy illegal invaders?

The stupid wall will not be built and would not make a difference if it were.
Trump is a gasbag and the Wall is just part of his gas.
Never gonna happen.

Barring a tragic accident, death, or assassination, there are 3 things guaranteed to occur under this administration You can bet the house on these:
1) a Conservative will be nominated to the Supreme Court, and will fill Scalia's seat
2) Obamacare will be repealed, and replaced with alternate legislation, that takes Government out of the control of everyone's healthcare, and puts Government back into its proper role of oversight.
3) a wall will be built. Can't assume it will be a complete physical wall seperating the U.S. from Mexico, though I'd guess 90% of it will be. And it'll cost far less than the CA bullet train to nowhere
Sorry to burst your wishful thinking bubble. But it is good to see you managed to put the ire away from Clinton letting you down, and have returned to the fold
