Trump claimed that he was honest and the proof was that he was not taking money from anyone.
But he has been begging on his website forever and selling his dumb hats and stuff.

Hillary has never claimed that she was not raising money.

If you want him to win, you are going to have to give him money, as he clearly will not spend a billion on his own campaign.

I expect Hillary to be on the lower end of the range of trustworthy successful politicians.

I expect Trump to be as honest as the typical successful real-estate developer.

Neither is a high recommendation is it?

As someone recently told me, some people may disagree that Hillary is worse than Trump. They see them as occupying precisely the same bandwidth in the spectrum of failure. Not so. Hillary is demonstrably horrible, and in a purely utilitarian calculation.  The Donald offers a marginally greater chance of being less horrible. Hence, Trump.
