If the diffrence between them comes down to a very few deligates.

I know of one superdeligate that has offered his vote for a fee.

And to cope with superdeligates that refuse to toe the line there is always kriptonite.

----------------------------------------------
I think that kryptonite would be ineffective, being as it only exists in comic strips. There is no Planet Krypton, nor is there any such thing as Kryptonite.

The original story was that all the folks on Planet Krypton had normal strength and were not capable of flight or other cool superpowers, because the Kryptonite on Krypton weakened them to normal human abilities, but once they left Krypton and there was no Kryptonite about, they had all these superpowers.

This does not explain why Superman's dad, Jor-El, is always drawn wearing a cape. Capes and spandex clothing are not that useful unless one is capable of flight.

In later episodes, Krypton tends to glow green and makes Superman very, very ill. The element Krypton does not seem to have anything to do with Kryptonite, since it is an inert gas. The creators of Superman apparently did not pay a lot of attention in their science classes.

In the film "The Incredibles" the costume designer mentions how capes are really not practical for even superheroes, and shows the demise of numerous caped ones being sucked into jet engines and having other fatal accidents as a result of their capes.

"Kryptonite" would indicate a molecule containing krypton and oxygen.

So, Bentonite is a compound containing Benton and oxygen?

I think there is more to fluorites than just Fluorine and Oxygen. Like a lot of silicon.

But if such a compound did exist, it would almost certainly be a gas, and not a glowing green mineral.

It is not like inert gases to form compounds of any sort.

The authors of Superman invented Kryptonite as a fictional device to explain how it was that the race of Kryptonoids were just normal blokes back home on Krypton, and of course, Kryptonite gives Lex Luthor a fighting chance against Superman.

It is more clever as a fictional device than as a real substance.

Yes , but in truth krypton resists oxidation because it is a noble gas.

So what makes four hundred or so prominent Democrats super?
Each of them is makeing a decision individually that the elected deligates make representing several thousand voters.
Is it the rays of the yellow sun?

It's time for uncommitted superdelegates to stop their dithering, come out of hiding, hop off the fence and officially bring this nominating process to an end. I understand there are still three more primaries to go. But there is nothing that is going to happen in Puerto Rico or South Dakota or Montana that is going to convince Hillary Clinton to leave the race.

This article includes a list of the persons made super.

And Will Thomas reported on Sen. Jim Webb's intense interest and knowledge about the troubles faced by the Scot-Irish community that makes up the Appalachian population at issue. Webb has been repeatedly mentioned as a vice president for Obama, and could help to balance out support.
