I don't know what the per centage is, but I would make a guess that 1 in 10 American jobs are dependent upon military contracts. That might be a low estimate. I think a lot of Americans say one thing about the Iraq war, but support the military industrial complex because its their bread and butter. The polls tell one story, but what is happening on the street is the reality. It may be a credit card economy, but it does keep the natives pacified.
