And still more draft Biden/Warren verbage
« on: August 24, 2015, 02:10:41 PM »
Noticing more and more pundits discussing the possibility that within the next month, if Clinton's #'s keep tanking as they do, that despite the Oligarchy having bought and paid for her to be their nominee, that if Warren were to join Biden on the ticket, as his VP choice, would be a supposedly formidable force, with Biden the blue collar person who can validly relate to the working class, and Warren the darling of the progressive wing of the party, that would bring out the base, in droves

On paper, its great.  In theory, it works.  In reality, people vote for the President, not the VP, and with the laundry list of rhetorical gaffes made by Biden, likely paints him as a clown.  But I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Only the ratbag right thinks Biden is a clown. He has been a pretty good VP. Far better than (shudder) Cheney, better than (snicker) Palin, better than (Jee zus!) Ryan would have been.

If I were Joe Biden, I would visit Warren as well. She is a genius at politics. She defeated that Republican guy with the red pickup truck rather easily. I think she would make a great president, and I hope she does.

She won't be running for President...., not this go around, so best pray she talks Biden into it, with her being his running mate

I have found the term "prayer" to mean "talking to myself".  Having noted that the occurrence of things I prayed to happen to be as random as those that I did not pray about, I have decided that praying is just talking to myself.  If there is an omnipotent Supreme Being, God, Deity or Demiurge, he can read my thoughts, anyway, so I am no longer into prayer.

I will have to wait for Biden to actually run and present what he proposes to decide whether to vote for him in the primary. I am leaning toward Sanders, if only to send Hillary the message that I like Bernie's "Bust up the Big Banks" policy better than Hillary's "Take their money" policy.

Everything you say that is stupid is later labelled "rhetorical".  You are overflowing with rhetoric.
Not the good kind, though.

Naaa, just calling your efforts to pull out the literal card, for what they are....as in transparent....as in everyone else sees it as well.  Here's a pre-disclaimer for yas......anytime anyone suggests you pray for X, its rhetorical, as in no one actually expects you to literally pray

So your religion is rhetorical.

That is what I thought.

Naaa...my religion is valid.  I actually do pray.  In fact, I pray for you and your ideological kin, every day

No...that'd be literally.  You keep forgetting, I'm the religious one here.  I take praying seriously.  You're the one that no one expects would pray, which is why when the term is tossed in your direction, its to be taken as rhetorical

So you are both literal and rhetorical.

If I say one, you say the other, and vice versa.
