Here is one cartooning.
-
The problem with someone describing life on Earth to space aliens is summed up in the question "compared to what?"
You could say, well, it is less stressful then life on Kingon home world Kronos, and less materialistic than life on Ferenginar, but only if you had been to Kronos or Ferenginar.
Earthlings might also say to these particular aliens that well, we probably have a better sense of smell, because unlike you guys, we have noses, and we are not nearly so fond of red clothes.
-
You should look at some of her other things, when you have plenty of time, a few of them are shorter some of them are even longer.
-
You are right. She is a great cartoonist with a lot of wild ideas. Very entertaining and unlike anything I have seen anywhere else.
-
I think she has Canada poisoning.
-
She is Canadian, isn't she?
-
I`d of wrote mostly harmless.
-
I don't think cartoons of this sort are harmful at all.
As she says, some of them have "too many words".
-
I meant the description of earth and it`s a quote from a hitchhiker`s guide to the galaxy.
-
Okay, I remember that.
-
I`d of wrote mostly harmless.
Hahahahaa!
That is the revised description.
-
The Earth was destroyed in the Hitchhiker's Guide by the Vogons to make way for a hyperspace bypass..
-
which they give more than gave reasonable notice. not their fault earth doesn`t do space travel to see the notice
-
That was a delightful sci fi work.
If I am ever in Norway I will search for Spartibardfasts signature.
-
You mean Slartibartfarst, no doubt.
It was the funniest Sci Fi book I have ever read.
-
I use that book as a gateway drug to get my nephew into science fiction and he been hooked ever since.
-
I particularly liked Douglas Adams making the Hitchhikers Guide Trilogy a five book series.
The BBC dramatization of this was infinitely better than the American movie version, which was too short and lacked Adam's sense of humor.
-
The best part was the restaurant at the end of the universe which the place which the house special told arthur he wanted to be eaten.
"May I urge you to consider my liver?" asked the animal, "it must be very rich and tender by now, I've been force-feeding myself for months."
Lol
-
That scene was a hoot. The humor was based on taking scientific trends, like breeding creatures for specific purposes to their logical extreme.
