There are legends of the loyalty of a variety of British military groups, including the Gurkhas. The problem with military types is not that they are disloyal or cowardly, but that they are used to impose their will on people who often (if not always) have a right to be left alone.
How about Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry? It is an interesting name, at least.
