I know about them it is the three dimentional version of a Moibus strip. Its surface is continuous such that the inner and outer surfac is the same surface .
Looks like you could cork it and have a containment though.

Moibus strips are fun if you mark a centerline on it the line will be continuous on both sides of the paper , if you cut the centerline it turns into a single strip of paper in a loop that is no longer moibus.
