1 Marine vs. 30 Cops: Marine Punks NYPD Cops! (Occupy Wallstreet)

I remember the kent state riot and people here thought those nat. guard are heroes for shooting unarmed students.so maybe it is honorable to harm unarmed people.

He who controls the camera controls the message.

The cops, I noticed, did not dare to lay a finger on this man.

How could they, without looking like cowards and henchmen of the oligarchy?

It's a shame that all those police resources have to be wasted because of these smelly protestors. The police were very respectful of this guy and call him sir. There are other important things the police should be doing.

It is pretty certain that there was no purpose served by 15 cops all hanging around listening to this Marine. Someone, perhaps that police officer in the white shirt, should have sent them somewhere else.

The Marine was simply stating the truth, as was his right. The cops wisely did not dare arrest him and throw him in a paddy wagons with all those cameras present, but so many of them in that one place were not protecting or defending anyone.

You don't know that. Their presence may have prevented him from attacking somebody.  There have been rapes, assaults, robberies, you name it at these protests.
