I'm sure he wishes abortions were rare.

I believe that is the same position as Obama and Hillary.

What politicians "wish" is really immaterial.

It is what they propose to do to prevent abortions that actually matters. And to say that somehow because times are tough and lots of people are out of work means that no one should care about a woman's right to choose an abortion is just bogus.

Nor do I think he's claiming "no one should care".  He's not pushing some anti-abortion legislation.  Merely, in the scheme of things and current economic reality, it's pretty weak to attack someone on "abortion", when there are far more pressing problems in this country.

Family Issues:

? #26 ? The core unit which determines the strength of any society is the family; therefore the government should foster and protect its integrity.

? #2 ? A free people cannot survive under a republican constitution unless they remain virtuous and morally strong.

I am strongly Pro-Life  ? without exception ? and believe in the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. Consequently, I also stand against legislation that promotes human cloning, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia and the rationing of health care to the elderly.

Finally, I?m a strong supporter of traditional marriage and believe that a marriage can only exist between one man and one woman.
