Those familiar with the Kurdish situation are perplexed about what goals the PKK have been pursuing since launching their offensive against Turkey at the beginning of the year.

So, what do YOU make of these goals, Plane?

I suppose that they are frustrated and I can see how this article might be correct in its analisis.

The PKK doesn't have any good choices that it understands , but I would like to tell them to be patient .

If the US wins there will be at the least an autonamous region in Iraq for Kurds and if the US gets its way in Turkey there might be some Kurdish participation in Turkish government .

Neither of these is what the PKK wants ,but both of them are better results than the PKK can get by insurgency.

This is a case of perfect being an enemy of good.
