Recent studies suggest that limited fat intake reduces your chances for Alzheimers later in life.

Yeah, that "fat-free" might lead to memory loss...

fat-free is bad?
I`m a believer
ever notice we never hear of vegetarians living past 100 years
and vegans are known to be moody

Almost no one lives past 100, and when someone does, if they are a vegetarian this fact is not necessarily divulged.

delay fractions?!?
the fact children can learn them at a early is age should be excuse enough that they should learn it.
I had no idea it should be reserved for calculus?
if anything we need to crank it up the math
at work amoung highly educated people I`m the only guy who don`t need a calculator to do math.
in fact I`m the only one who can operate a adding machine
meaning I know how to subtotal.
It`s a obscure fact that if you add a very long list of number without subtotalling you`r never going to get the correct total.

That's not a "fact" at all.

Then you've seen a lot of people screw up. I, on the other hand, have witnessed long series of numbers being added correctly in most cases.

well yeah

these are legal secretaries and paralegals we`re talking about
and gas station cashiers
too the person who makes a living adding this is nothing
but the average guy it`s just not very doable.

I am not sure of what you mean.

I used adding machines for twenty years before calculators came along.

If you add a long list of numbers and pick 'subtotal' you will get the same number you get when you pick 'total'. The difference is that with 'subtotals', can still add to the total. If you select 'total', the machine will clear the 'memory', and will begin with zero.

Perhaps you could explain.

I meant for the person who don`t do this very much
subtotaling allows  the person to pause and cuts down on the error
also a added advatage of catching your mistakes.
