The whole point of abortion is inconvenience.

All this talk about stopping abortion has not exactly stopped the cause of abortion. Thier is great shame and embarrassment to having a child out of wedlock. These are some of the motivating factor that encourage abortions.

Would it help to have no shame for bringing a child into the world ?

Or should there be more shame for destroying the child rather?

The first is more viable than the second. one if the advantage of abortion is the out of sight out of mind factor.

You can feel guilt for having an abortion but at least nobody will bother you. Very few people broadcast their having a abortion. Pregnancy needs no introduction

The act of having the abortion and any shame that comes with it are things that the woman has to weigh for herself.

But it should be HER decision.

Yes just  as it would be for any other killing of a human being.

I respectfully disagree, Kimba.  The whole point of abortion is its the killing of an innocent unborn child, who gets no say in the matter of their very existence.  The absolute LEAST it can be is inconvenient

All this talk about stopping abortion has not exactly stopped the cause of abortion. Thier is great shame and embarrassment to having a child out of wedlock.

Again, with all due respect....not any more.  In some circles, its a badge of honor.  In the Black communities, it's almost expected, which is one of the biggest reasons so many black youths start down the path of wrongdoing, and why there are more blacks % wise to the population in prison, than all other races

Women have abortions because they do not wish to have the child they would otherwise have.

It is therefore always about convenience.

No one takes pleasure from removing fetuses. The fetus is perceived as an obstacle to a better life without it.

And women have the right to make that choice, not some dolt like sirs.

I'm all for letting the unborn child speak for themselves, but since we haven't developed that kind of technology yet, the law needs to speak for those who are the most vulnerable, or in this case, for their very existence

The terms "sirs" and "obsessed imbecile" are interchangeable.

Fetus and child, however, are not.

NEVER said fetus & child, oh master of deflection.  As everyone with a grasp of vision & the english language noted, I said Fetus <--> UNBORN Child.  Those terms are interchangible.  One is a technical term, the other is the more practical term

Anyone else find it ironic that I'm having to school a language professor in the English language??

The terms .............and............. are interchangeable.

Fetus and child, however, are not.

For no apparent reason.

There are no unborn children, there are only fetuses.

They live at the behest of their mothers.
That they live is the first point.
That their mothers have the right to kill them is the debatable point.

A woman is with child , if she desires a baby.
She is hosting a parasitic fetus if her feelings are different.

I am not the first to notice this example of illogic , there is a comic titled "With Fetus" that is remarkably astute even though I disagree with it often.

The protagonist of the comic is a doctor and abortionist who does not have the heart to kill her own fetus when she has an unplanned pregnancy.

The author must be moving down a checklist, he is hitting every aspect of the abortion controversy .

   Not always in good taste.
