Apparently not. You keep coming back to it.

I reported what he said. Your views may differ.6

And thank you BT.

No, I've moved on, despite your redirecting efforts, and no one is arguing what he said in the Rose Garden.  As Plane accurately referenced, it was just vague enough you could twist it into almost anything you want.  The point of how it was NOT a reference to Benghazi is in his subsequent interviews, where he could have made it clear.  He didn't, in stead he went on with "we really don't know what happened", despite that the CIA knew, the State Dept knew, yet he didn't apparently, even sending Rice out with an alternate scenario of talking points.

So, again, no one is refuting what he said AT THE TIME, in the rose garden.  The issue is that it wasn't specific, and then was refuted by his subsequent interviews, by both himself and his minions who did not and would not reference Benghazi as a terrorist act, despite being asked point blank

Ad Bt, I'm not under any sense of such an impression.  I just call people out, when its apparent they're either dodging the question or trying to have it both ways.  Your views may differ

So you can move on, but other members are subject to being "called out" if they decide the discussion is not being fruitful and it is best to move on?

Eh....

Calling them out seems inefective.

Once you have stated your opinion with the best supporting evidence you can find and the best logic you are able , you might as well stop.
There is no means for making anyone admit, ... .

Lets just be glad for the workout.

Perhaps ineffective in seeing the error of their ways, but good read for those visitors and saloon patrons that don't post too often

But your point is well taken.  The plea has been submitted.....moving on......I hope

That is in the right direction , but there is more to do.

Have you ever sparred in a Dojo?

At the conclusion of a match the sparring partners thank each other for the sparring, failing to do so is bad form.

And either sparring partner can tap out , striking after the tap isn't a good idea.

How can these ideas be adapted to the much more ephemeral sparring of a debate site?

We don't get brused , but we do get monsterous frustration and the last word goes to whoever is most willing to stay up late.

In a Dojo "winning" is not the real point.

If there are points to award , I would award one for each attempt at humor and two for humor that was apt.

But what about the silent majority that lives and dies by the posts on this forum. Do they not deserve an answer?
