Got no problem sending the money there,but the real problem is making sure it works.if 80% of money funds weapons supply instead of food and medicine. I doubt it's worth the bother.

at this point we need to fix ourselves before we get involved in fixing other people.

A huge number of the starving Somalis are in camps in Kenya. If all they send is actual food, the odds are that it will go to the people. I don't think US foreign aid involves handing out dollars to Somalis.
