Mexicans do not come here because Mexico sucks, they come here because living in Mexico on what they pay in Mexico sucks. They like to be Mexicans, but they dislike being poor Mexicans.

If Mexicans were to try to change their sucky economic system, then the US would be far more annoyed than it is by all the Mexicans coming here to find work. In Mexico, a very small number of people own everything, and they are closely allied with the US elites that own much of the US.

If one has American dollars, one can enjoy Mexico even more than the gringos do.


It is up to the US to make coming here without permission impossible, if Americans do not want all the Mexicans here.They come because they can.

If they couldn't, they wouldn't. Perhaps you will vote for someone who will make this happen. Or maybe they will lie to you about how they plan to enforce the law, as all the previous presidents and congresses have done.

most folks I know don`t want to live here.
they just want to work and send money home.
I got no problem with that as long they pay thier share of the taxes
but alot of them complain they shouldn`t pay taxes since their not citizens.
I just say then you got no reason to be here if your not paying taxes.

Juniorbush makes it ever so easy to come here. So has every president. We have laws saying that they can't stay, but we allow other Americans to exploit their desperation.


You cannot blame them for wanting to come here. You can only keep them out.
You might have to pick some of the vegetables they won't be around to pick. Maybe Mitt Romney will have to mow his own yard.
Wouldn't we have been better off if Alberto Gonzales had stayed in Honduras?

Not to mention that NAFTA has caused a couple million small farmers in Mexico to go bankrupt. 

Though reported on NPR, I do not know if the same corporations who are grabbing up the land are the same as those doing the same thing to the properties first left vacant by Katrina, which were later still held that way by the purposeful inaction of Brownie's former team.

When you factor Real Estate into the formula, it remains much less a mystery why those trailers still sit in rows there even yet.
