Who's running for the office of president?
Seems like Biden and McCain have more experience put together.
Too bad they can't join forces and hire Palin and Obama out for a double dose of support. ;)
It all boils down to party liners.
If you are a Republican, you are going to stay in that vein menu.
If you are a Democrat, likewise.
Personal strength, religion, women and experience, men and race....
none of these points will matter in the end.
It will be about the Kramers vs the Xaviers.
I see no real debate going on here. I read muscles flexing.
BT, on the other hand, even though I disagree with him more often than not, is a class act.
There really and truly would be no debate gate without you, Bill.
My god, people, listen to the other side of the fence for once. Stop this crap of hate and judgement..and rush to make fools of or belittle others. You all look so much like a debate club in Junior High School.
There are so many issues to discuss. Few folks on here have really rallied over the years...and I find this place continues to house the same of rhetoric of "I know...therefore YOU do NOt".
No wonder there are no new members to take a seat in here.
Nothing worse than the likes of a Kramer Knutey and a bunch of Hootervilles like them and some of the rest.....to trash a decent place for discussion and debate.
This country of ours was founded on discussion and debate, fellas. You act as if you are a bunch of Know it AllS.
You really must re read your posts here to see just how much you look like silly teens.

Lucky then, that all four have jobs to go back to after they loose the election.
Three in the Senate and one in a State capitol , after the loss two must suffer they will not become unemployed or out of touch.

BT I am a big fan of yours, you have a difficult task holding this place together, you are a great moderator, and I agree we need to all work on lessening the personal attacks (including Cindy).
Yes maybe Kramer should not tell her to "shut up" but it is Cindy that started the personal attack on Kramer in this thread. Cindy threw the first punch in this thread by referring to him by name in a very demeaning way and referring to him by name as "Hootervilles".
Ok I'll "shut-up" now. ;)

Cindy is passive aggressive and a hypocrite. Likely being around children all day long has caused some of this behavior.

Cindy is an ass-kisser, passive aggressive to look above the fray. she compliments BT so she can get a free passes to throw punches at others. It's very transparent behavior. Childish too. Everything she acts like she despises. Hypocritical too...just me 3 cents worth

Pooch, BT and others influence posts of others by asking for civility.
Of course unlike Cindy they dont throw mud and then pretend to be on the "high horse".

It is just as factual that Cindy is complaining about civility in a freaking post
where she herself is slinging mud.

I don't see where Cindy has ever done more than react to insults hurled at her.
The experience argument is far less important with the current candidates than the ideological stance they take.
McCain seems stuck in the XX Century. He will be far more likely to continue the policies of Juniorbush: War, favors for the mega rich, no healthcare, and encouraging a deadlock in the Congress and blaming the Democrats for not agreeing to commit harikari and give the GOP everything it asks for. Palin's views with regard for foreign affairs are unknown and probably nonexistent at this stage. If we agree that what she does best is uproot corruption in Alaska, then her candidacy has put an end to that.
