More of the Blame Bush vomitfest
« on: April 04, 2012, 01:12:57 PM »
Under Bush, his tax cuts generated INCREASED revenues (much like what happened under both Reagan, and IIRC Kennedy), while Bush and congress spent x-more than what those increased Bush tax cuts brought in.  And combined with the failure of reforming Freddie & Fannie, brought about the Housing collapse that led to the recession we went in

Under Obama, those tax cuts are still in effect, while Obama & congress have spent XXX-more than what those increased tax cuts brought in.  And with continued failure at reforming Freddie & Fannie, topped off with policies to push "green" energy, at the expense of far more reliable & job-centric policies, have brought about the economic abyss we currently find ourselves in

But let's keep blaming Bush......oh, and Cheney too.....those heartless bastards

BlameBush is not going to work in the election.
In fact it could actually backfire and hurt them.
It all boils down to unemployment & gas prices.

Well, according to BsB, its precisely Bush and his tax cuts that have facilitated the unemployment & gas prices.  How quickly do you think we'll see the 1st Democrat commericals that have both the names Romney & Bush in them?  I predict by the end of May, if not sooner

Being as Romney wants to emulate Juniorbush, it is a sure thing that Obama's campaign will remind us of it.
The GOPers have only two principles:
The poor are not poor enough: their taxes must be raised, and their benefits cut.
The rich are still not wealthy enough: their taxes must be cut and their benefits increased.

They probably won't be telling us about the war with Iran they want, unless they get elected. Then they will monger it.

See, Cu4?  The Dems have only 2 campaign principles
- Blame Bush
- If you're against Obama, you must be racist
