If the panel asked for information that came from the interrogations and got it, i don't see how the CIA is remiss.

If the panel asked for details and materials including media about interrogation methods and was not provided that, then there is a problem.

I'm not sure the panel was charged with investigation of  interrogation techniques and perhaps that is why they did not ask specifically for any recordings of interrogations.

It's all about asking the right questions.

Wouldn't you think that the CIA would be advanced enough to have made DVD DISKS instead of VHS tapes?

VHS is more secure.

If it was on dvd odds are segments would be on youtube.

And why is that?

Why would it be more likely for a DVD to be on YouTube than a VHS?

Anything on VHS can be transferred to DVD quite easily.

Because you have to have possession of the VHS to convert and upload. DVD's usually are compiled from electronic media and that means at some point they reside on a computer or server. Easier to get a hold of and less likely to leave a fingerprint.
