That was funny in parts.  There was a bad echo to some of the sound track so I couldn't hear all of it, but I didn't see anything really offensive to Mormons in it.  The basic idea was hilarious.  Thanks, kimba.

Why single out Mormons? I get more Jehovah's Witnesses on my doorstep than anyone else.

This was rather funny.

There are lots more Jehovah's Witlesses knocking on my door than Mormons in Miami. I think the Mormons are fonder of converting people in the West and the South Pacific Area.

I agree that disturbing people is annoying.

We get 'em both.  Mormons AND Jehovah's Witnesses.  I'm always polite and respectful to both.  Mormons because our neighbours across the street are Mormons and they put some of these guys up as guests.  They're absolutely the best God-damn neighbours I could ever ask for, so I put up with the missionaries very graciously.  And Jehovah's Witnesses because these guys really stood up to Adolf Hitler back in the day, when nobody else did.  Got their fucking heads cut off for it, too.  And here in Canada, they stood up in court to our own home-grown fascist dictator, Maurice Duplessis, the Premier of Quebec Province, back in the 40s and 50s.  All the way to the Supreme Court of Canada when Duplessis tried to "padlock" their houses so they couldn't have prayer meetings there which would offend the RCC.  Those guys earned my respect.

I always try to convert them when they come to my house.

What to?

Whatever I'm in the mood for that day. Atheism is a big one. Sometimes I'll invite them in for a Blót (Norse pagan ceremony). One time, I was in the process of butchering a deer when they knocked on the door, I had a bloody shirt on and was holding a knife. I told them they were just in time for a ritual sacrifice.

LOL.  After which you were free of that particular sect for many, many Blóts?

Yeah. Even when they showed up in the neighborhood, I would make a point of going outside and inviting them in, but they seemed to avoid my house.

They were Seventh Day Adventists, IIRC.

What a hoot!
You're a pin on a map of houses to avoid, I hope you know that.

And I hope to keep it that way. Only people who should be coming up to my door are those I've invited.
