I like several of his songs. "Peace Train," "Moonshadow," "Morning Has Broken," and a few others.

I love his music too, all of the songs Ami said but especially Morning Has Broken.  I was surprised to find that in a hymn book.

I like that song too. It is in hymnals because it was written well before Cat Stevens was ever born. In fact, I'm fairly sure that Mr Stevens (or whatever his name is now) sings a different version than the Christian hymn. It is also interesting because it is done in 9/4 time, which is not very common, at least the version I'm familiar with is in 9/4 time.

The two versions I looked at showed that Stevens (now Yusuf Islam) changed "word" to "World." That's the only thing I can spot.

I've always liked his music.

You probably just don't know anyone who will admit they liked his music. When he converted to Islam, he became persona non grata to a lot of people; after his comments following 9-11, people were burning his albums, and the US refused to let him in the country because they had put him on a terrorist watch list.

I still like his music.
