>>Jimmy Carter wanted to bring democracy to Afghanistan.<<

LMFAO!!!!  Jimmy Carter briging democracy to Afghanistan is just peachy, but God forbid Bush brings it to Iraq. Oh man, that's hilarious!

>>Reagan preferred to screw over Central America.<<

In other words, President Reagan helped destroy XO's Communist friends the Sandinista thus doing to Nicaragua what Carter supposedly wanted to do to Afghanistan.

The Sandinistas were elected in a free and fair election. They still exist, by the way. The old wrinkled fool failed to outlive them.

Reagan was a total asshole, and he put creepoids in the CIA that brought on the hideous mess we have now.

Jimmy Carter wanted to bring democracy to Afghanistan. His sidekick, Brezinski, a Pole, wanted vengeance against the Russians. The various dirty tricks and weapons like cruise missiles destroyed the Russians in Afghanistan, but in the Reagan administration, they failed to put enough money in Afghanistan, and what resulted was the Taliban. Reagan preferred to screw over Central America.

The Reagan Administration sent less money to Afganistan than the Carter Administration?

I don't think so.

And I am unaware of any effort on the part of Carter or Brezinski to promote democracy in Afganistan , the point of the exercise was to tire the Soviet Union , Mission accomplished.
