Low quality debate.
« on: October 19, 2016, 11:24:28 PM »
I don't see either of these people staying near the truth.

In the comparison of misunderstanding, emotional tripe and outright lies , we will choose a leader?

Trump seemed more in control and was cogent at least better than the previous debates.

Hillary hewed to her line with no surprises.

    Kinda boring both of them.

On one thing I am disagreeing with the pundits that are criticizing Trump for not promising to accept the results of the election. What was Al Gores right to take the results to the supreme court?

If there is evidence of cheating Trump can go to court and this is his right.

When Richard Nixon and John Kennedy competed for the presidency there was significant evidence of cheating in Indiana, Richard Nixon decided not to pursue it  , saving the nation an enormously expensive and embarrassing court case.

When Al Gore and George Bush contended , the vote in Florida was so close that a recount might have made a lot of difference, Al decided to take the case to court and the case was embarrassing and enormously expensive.

Now whether Trump decides to emulate Richard Nixon's nobility, or Al Gores pettiness, is entirely up to him , in spite of what all these talking heads on Fox are saying it would be foolish of him to throw away his rights of suit and appeal before he has any knowledge of whether the election will be conducted well and according to the law in the future.

Megan Kelley has Trumps number, she is grilling a Trump staffer pretty strictly about Trumps  attitude and statements about women.

Trump isn't going to win without any women voting for him, and the accusations are credible , especially to any woman that has been unpleasantly treated by an uninvited man, which is practically all of them.

If I had a chance to advise Trump , I would definitely tell him not to claim that the women were not attractive enough to molest, this is a non-starter. Rather , if even one of these accusations can be truly disproved , it will reduce the impact of all of them. This might not be a possibility whether the truth is there or missing, but it would be worth a try.

Megan Kelly has Donna Brazil in a cleft about being provided with questions ahead of the CNN debate.

Shades of Reagan!
It is the original debategate!

This discussion of the Debate is a better show than the show.

Agreed....this is a total bullshit sham "issue" the media is pretending has any meaning.
Of course Trump will wait, see, and make a judgement as to whether he "accepts" the results.
Won't Hillary actually do the same thing?
If Hillary see mass voter fraud favoring Trump she would just "accept" the election results?
LOL.....laughable media crap!

Gore did not accept 2000 election results after a few days.
Hillary agreed Gore "won" in 2000.
Hillary stated in 2002 Bush "Selected, Not Elected"
John Kerry Thought Bush Rigged 2004...especially in Ohio.

While Wallace was superior as a moderatior to the other obviously biased folk, Trump needed to do a much better job of hammering on Clinton's criminal conduct as SoS.  While he would initiate some of those, he didn't perform near a good enough job at refocusing, following Clinton's frequent attempts at deflection.

Notice also that at no time did she ever proclaim that any of the wikileaks revelations were lies.  Instead, the talking points were on how bad it was for them to have been obtained in the 1st place......and its Russia's fault

Did anyone notice when Hillary promised to abide by the election results?

Did she even do that?
