Your statistics as usual, come from some nether orifice.

Fewer immigrants have entered than entered when Bush was president, and Obama has hired a bunch more Border Police.

Fewer Mexian immigrants have, but exponentially more OTHER-than-Mexican immigrants have entered, led by floods of children...and spearheaded by Obama's executive promises for any and all who do come here

You appear not to understand the word "exponentially" That would be ten to a thousand times more.

You are clueless.

Doesn't "exponentially" translate to "A very high rate of change or difference"?

An exponent is of any magnitude, but we are accustomed to an exponent making a really big difference even though it can be any difference.

I guess when a small difference needs to be represented , exponents are not needed.

To specifically represent a change by a power of ten or an hundred I think the best term would be "order of magnitude".

Actually it does, not to mention debunks the notion of less illegal immigration under Obama.  One of the most fundamental jobs of the U.S. government is securing our borders in order to keep immigrants from entering our nation illegally. Not only has the Obama Administration completely and utterly failed at that task, it has created “family reunification programs” that fly illegal immigrants INTO America so they can be with their relatives who have already broken the law to be here.

You’ve heard of the fox guarding the henhouse; well, under the Obama Administration, we have the smugglers guarding the border.

The Executive cannot do anything major unless Congress votes the funds. This is just like Guantanamo: the rightwingers deny funds to the President for doing the right thing, and then blame him for not doing it. They are total assholes.

And the Executive Branch is functioning just fine, not citing a need for any more funds to enforce the immigration laws.  Quite the opposite in fact, when he signs executive orders, that make it clear his intention of ignoring those very laws

I guess that's all this county clerk needed to do....sign a county order, exempting herself this portion of her job duty.  Then everything would be right as rain, I suppose, given the precedent started by Obama

The Bible says NOTHING about civil marriage, only religious ones. Traditionally, the church has not recognized civil weddings. So Kim Davis can easily issue licenses without violating any religious restrictions, because there are no religious restrictions to non-religious marriages. And, of course, a marriage license is not a wedding:it is at best a document of official intent to marry.  The stewardess may be violating the Koran by serving alcohol to a passenger, but this is a silly restriction: she is not selling it not offering it as one might offer it to a guest; she is simply complying with the request of an almost certainly non Muslim. Serving one drink of watered down booze is hardly going to make anyone noticeably drunk. Airlines refuse to serve more drinks to people who appear to be drunk, anyway.

Islam is a rather silly religion: backward and dogmatic. Mohammad was illiterate, so he did not write the Koran. The legend is that Allah dictated it, then he memorized it and later someone, we do not know who not when, wrote it down. So the written Koran is somewhat questionable. Even though it is written in verse, people need to hear something many times before committing it to memory. Can you picture Allah repeating the verses again and again until Mohammad can repeat them word for word?  I find that to be hard to imagine. Moses had just the Ten Commandments, but they were presumably written for him by God. I find it somewhat refreshing to imagine God as being literate.  There are no signs, by the way that Jesus was literate. One would expect this from a rabbi, but Jesus was not a traditional rabbi, who would typically be of the Levi caste and the son of a priest, rather than the son of a carpenter,

A marriage license is a more serious item than a martini, but nonetheless the stewardess has the better case. But both cases are silly. People should resign from jobs that require them to violate their religions, phobias, obsessions or other mental or physical restrictions.

And one more time.....that's irrelevant, as in it doesn't matter what this clerk's reason was for not abiding by the law, as part of their job description be it religious, phobia, or simply ideology as their mental restriction

Finally something we can agree upon.  Looking forward to you advocating the resignation of every Mayor, City Council member, and current POTUS, that apparently see themselves as above the law, they're supposed to abide by, as they refuse to fully enforce current immigration law

Of COURSE it matters, since she claimed that her rights to her free exercise of religion were violated by not being able to refuse to do her jon=b.

Had she refused on the grounds that "The Voices told me not to do this", she would have had no case at all.

There is a difference between being prevented from exercising one's religion by praying, going to church, donating money, having rites performed on your own behalf and exercising it by preventing others from doing something, like getting a civil marriage license or having a drink.

The free exercise of anything is being able to do what one wishes as long as it does not interfere with others. Everyone has the right to wear  an earring, but one does not have the right to prevent others from wearing earrings.

In any case, Davis' case was based ENTIRELY on her supposed religious rights being violated.

Davis was divorced three times.  I suppose that some courthouse official could have refused to process her divorce documents because he claimed that he though it would violate his religious beliefs. Jesus did make some pretty firm statements against divorce, after all: he said nothing whatever about same sex civil marriage documents.

Doesn't matter what she claims.  She can claim space aliens are holding her family hostage as the reason.  The point is her not doing her job, for WHATEVER reason.  Same as the Mayors of Sanctuary Cities.  Same as Obama ans his executive orders bypassing his constitutional duties to enforce immigration laws
