if a call spike get beyound $100 shouldn`t a cell company contact the client?
not no friggin thousand dollars.
my friends niece ran up a thousand dollars on text message
how the hell can a thousand charge not ring up alarm bells??
does anybody here think $400+ phone bill is average ?
I think any monthly bill that cost as much as a laptop is high
am I wrong?

It is not up to them to monitor your usage and call you if you go over a certain limit. Some credit card companies will do this as a courtesy, but it is not a requirement. It is up to the user to understand the terms of their contract and keep track of their own usage.

Friend's niece needs to have Daddy take the cell phone away.
Let her get a job, earn the money, pay the bill, and I don't know what kind of strict rules I'd put on the phone....Can you disable texting?

that phone is gone now
pending review on getting those disposable one that shut down after the money runs out
go phones i think their called.
but it`s gonna be months if it ever happens
