The health of the people is the health of the nation.

If the ACA is abolished, we will not ever relace it with anything better.

Why do you think that this Big Pharma, Big Lawyer, Big Insurance Full Employment Act is the best we can do?

It is obviously NOT the "best we can do". But it is better than nothing. Nothing is what the Republicans want. If they wanted a decent plan, they should have cooperated on this one.

In this case, nothing, ie maintaining the status quo, would be better than ObamaCare.

How can front ending costs and backending benefits be better than what we had?

And please don't try to shift this monstrosity onto the GOP, they were cut out of negotiations from the gitgo.

Now people will not be bankrupted by medical bills.

The stupid Republicans were not "cut out" of anything. They simply cut themselves out, because they were only interested in "making Obama a one-term president".

I have no respect for their sorry, hateful asses and hope they become extinct.

Your disrespect for them, should have zero effect on telling the true story of how that bill got passed.

States , concerns , companys, etc. that had enough clout or barganing position got special exemptions for themselves written into the bill.

If it was really good wouldn't the guys with clout want more not less?

I don't want to pay so much medical bill that I can't pay anything elese , but is the best alternitive to pay so much tax that the economy entirely collapses?

Already we depend disproportionatly on the high taxes paid by a small sector of high earners, do we love or hate these guys?

How many are we going to chase to Singapore before we get the message?

And yet, THIS is the campaign approach by Obama & Company.  To demagogue the fewer & fewer folks that are to pay for their utopion madness.  And as earlier articles have demonstrating, higher taxes not only barely scrapes the debt, not only does it hardly pay for their astronimcal social expeditures, but its fixated on an extremely volatile demographic, where "the rich" can lose millions, if not billions in bad investments and/or overzealous regulations that cripple business progress.  Just look at California.

Then where do they go?
