I was commenting on the idiocy of claiming that the increase in Chicago murders was Global Warming related, as you too were also trying to make the case as warmer places had higher murders....see Houston & Texas.  You were incapable of seeing this because you lack objectivity

Warmer places do have more murders on average. The murder rate in the South is higher than murder rate in New England. In Canada it is lower still. The temperature is one factor among many.

The murder rate in Mexico is pretty high too, but much more in recent years , and Mexico has always been hot.

There are a lot of places hotter than Chicago , that have lower rates of murders, as a factor, heat is not major.

A truely major factor might be having a Democratic city government , that is a caristic in common with a lot of our very violent citys.

Yea, I think you mispoke....the truth....in that making gun laws stricter yet doesn't accomplish the supposed task of decreasing gun violence, or violent crime in general.  In fact, in this country, as more people legally purchase guns, our violent crime rate keeps going down, compared to places like England or Mexico.  Imagine that
