Obama "lied" about a secret plan for "peace with Honor" in Afghanistan.  He could have simply left in an orderly fashion: instead, he stayed around and 4x more soldiers have died there, than under that evil Bush.  He's provoked extreme divisiveness, both here and abroad.  He used the Justice Dept & EPA to punish his enemies, and had huge lists of them, including actual states.

Yea, Obama has done ALL of that

His plan for leaving Iraq and Afganistan is not , if anything , slower , than president Nixons plan for leaving Vietnam?

We had half a million troops in Vietnam. We never has a tenth that many in Afghanistan. Nixon's plan was not actually put into effect, since the US did not leave according to Nixon's plan. Remember that Nixon was driven from the White House before the US left Vietnam,and that the US was driven out of Vietnam. They were FORCED OUT. Nixon took office in January, 1969. The last troops were driven out by the NVA in April, 1975. Nixon may or may not have planned to stay even longer than that, but  he had over SIX YEARS.

It has not taken Obama SIX YEARS,and we are not being driven out, either.

The US will not be driven out of Afghanistan.

They will leave it to the Afghans to run, which is as it should be. The US has no hope of ever creating some sort of competent, honest pluralistic democracy in Afghanistan. It is clearly time to leave.
