Been thinking about muslims in America
« on: September 25, 2015, 02:27:25 AM »
I totally believe they should get all the protections all U.S. Citizens get and same treatments. I do think any racial accusations is likely true against them.

But they must I repeat must tolerate our paranoid and totally justified ways. If anyone gets falsely accused .yes get as much justice and money from it . But never expect such action to change . The root cause while does not negate such action is justified.

If this sound convoluted, yes it is but life never had to make sense

Been out a few days, but...   No. I remember the days after 9-11...the slurs and epithets against all things Arab and and Muslim, whether they had anything to do with 9-11 or not. I have spent considerable time in the Middle East, all over the Middle East. I have met Arabs and Muslims of every stripe, from Bedouins to Saudi princes, slept in their tents and homes and palaces, and made very good friends there over the years. The slurs and epithets against people I had met and gotten to know and made lasting friends with got to me. The final straw was seeing a Sikh friend who had been beaten because he was mistaken for Muslim. So no, don't accept the irrational hatred some ignorant assholes carry for a people and religion and culture they know nothing about. I can't, and don't.

The idea that all Muslims are agents of conquest in the West are blatantly false in most cases. The Muslims I know I have never had any disputes with.

It appears that CU4 wants to kill "all Muzzies". Perhaps you could ask him.

It does not seem to be an uncommon sentiment among right wingers.

Perhaps you could, since the jist of what I get from Cu4, is that he wants to rid the world of those radicalized "muzzies", who insist that the rest of the world either convert, be subjegated, or be forcibly removed from this earth.  I, as most others might, support killing all of them

In other words, unless he actually claims that all Muslims are agents of conquest in the West, you're up the proverbial accusatory creek without that damn paddle.......again

Muslims have no real chance of changing American ideals, for the same reason that Fundamentalist Christians will not change American ideals, or Mormons or other cults will do this.  They are seen as weird and fanatical. People will tolerate them,  but they will not follow them. Their children will mostly abandon the faith, because they don't like being labeled as weird fanatics. At least the  will lose the beards and the women will lose the headscarves.

There is no reason to persecute them, as they have the right to be weird.

Who here is persecuting "all Muslims"?

Who here supports persecuting "all Muslims"?

XO ....you are exactly right about that.
My friend/employee Adil now has 14 year old daughter....she is pretty, cute, and bubbly.
His daughter is totally "Americanized" typical teeny-boppy kid...she likes Taylor Swift, tight shorts, makeup, malls, and boys!
The daughter wants nothing to do with cutting a lamb's throat.....lol
Her Mother is petrified a "white christian boy" will be her puppy-love in Jr High.
Adil tells me his wife is crazy and that he doesn't care who his daughter dates as long as it's a nice boy.

The usual experience is that if some family has a wacko religion, as a rule the children will tend to abandon it. When the child is brought up in an isolated community, like Amish Farm colonies Hassidic Jewish neighborhoods or polygamous Mormon compounds, and there is no real contact with the world outside, that is when the child will stick with the faith.

miss america incident is a perfect example notice the issue of attacking the wrong non-muslim seems to never get address.
