Title: Blame Game
Post by: Michael Tee on October 23, 2008, 01:24:54 PM
Very funny article by Paul Begala and James Carville on Republican finger-pointing now, as the magnitude of the looming defeat is starting to become apparent, and post-election, which promises to be an unrestrained free-for-all as the GOP implodes.

And Why not?

"....finger-pointing is only interesting when you point at someone on your team."

Oh right , none of the press fit that description.

<<And Why not [blame the press]?>>

The authors are making fun of the Republicans' current tendency to blame the media for their own gaffes and misfortunes and how they are perceived.    Also they are really saying that the entertainment value of the finger-pointing is greatest when the Republicans are accusing each other rather than some outsiders.  This is a humourous piece, remember?

Oh yea, oh so humerous.  In fact, so much so, we need to provide some complimentary humor from Coulter for some even handed balance

Methinks some of the dems are getting a bit cocky and it will be a hugely entertaining if perchance the polls are wrong and this premature happy dance does them in.

I'm sure you won't fail to demonstrate your own unrestrained sense of humour if by any chance the Democrats fail to win this thing in a landslide of unprecedented proportions.
