Let's Take A Moment Of Silence for XO, I think he froze to death.

Miami's First Cold Weather Death Confirmed
A 77-year-old man died of hypothermia Tuesday in what could be considered the first death in Miami that could be attributed to the record cold weather that has lingered in the city.

Wilfredo Arreyes died at Jackson Memorial Hospital and his roommate Miguel Alemon, 93, is still in critical condition after the two spent days in the frigid cold weather with no heat or covers in their apartment on Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest 2nd Street in Little Havana.

The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office will do an autopsy to determine if something else may have contributed to the Arreyes' death.

Police and fire rescue officials found the two men inside their apartment huddled together on Friday night. Arreyes was already unconscious and Alemon was semi-conscious, officials said. There was no heat in the apartment and there did not appear to be any covers for the men to get warm.

Temperatures have dipped into the 30s several times over the past two weeks and freeze warnings have been in effect for Miami and other parts of South Florida for a few days now.

Police were notified of the plight of the men by a third roommate, who was out of town and became concerned after he couldn't get his phone calls answered.

The key to Rubio's interview was "we're going to give them an alternative."  Without any polling data to support the contrary, I'd say that he knows he's not going to win.

Thanks, Kramer, I'll keep that in mind.  Nobody in this whole God-forsaken country has orange trees in their back yard.

Marco Rubio is just another asshole prettyboy Cuban Fascist.
There is a reason why Martinez refused to run for reelection.

Typical Fox "News" bullshit.  The only figure they gave from the poll was that Crist's "very favourable" rating had dropped to half of its previous value among Republican voters.  No hard data on any other metrics in the poll, but I'm not sure what the "43% - 43%" was that flashed on the screen at the start of the clip.

Gotta say that I didn't like Crist's response to the question about the polls, he isn't worried, the only poll he cares about is the one on Election Day.  That is such obvious bullshit, and such an insult to the viewer's intelligence, that he DESERVES to get his ass kicked.  Only NOT by a Cuban fascist, as XO calls him, and I think that's probably a pretty good description.

Crist just has to show a little leadership here, show that he takes the job seriously.  More bullshit answers like the one he gave in that clip aren't going to help him any.  He has to attack that little fascist prick, hit him hard.

I am pretty sure they would. There are very no Cubans in national government that are not Republicans.
Mario and Lincoln Diaz-Balart are Fidel's and Raul's nephews by marriage, by the way. Fidel's first wife was a Diaz Balart.

I would say that in general the Cuban exile community (and their children) are fascists simply because most of them could live with Batista in Cuba but could not live with Fidel and the Revolution.

In this guy's case, there are more specific indicia of fascism that cling to him like the smell of shit - -

<<While studying law, he interned for Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.>>
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio)

Who is Ileana?

<<She is considered conservative on foreign, economic, and other social policy. Ros-Lehtinen is a supporter of President Bush's surge policy in Iraq, a supporter of Israel and supports continued sanctions against Cuba. She also supported the de facto government in Honduras, headed by Roberto Micheletti, that emerged after the Honduran Supreme Court's removal of President Manuel Zelaya.>>
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ileana_Ros-Lehtinen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ileana_Ros-Lehtinen)

That's enough proof of fascism for me - - she supports U.S. imperialism in Iraq, sanctions against Cuba (the only nation in the Americas whose government was directly rooted in an anti-fascist revolution,) and supports the military dictatorship after its coup in Honduras - - and the guy interned for her.

What are you waiting for, a swastika arm-band on his right arm?

Who is Ileana?

Ileana is a moderate Republican.

Interns are selected from students who live in the congressperson's district. My congressman now happens to be a liberal Democrat, which is most likely going to change this year. If I wanted to serve as an intern and I were a student, it would be for a Dem since I live in his district. Would that make me a liberal? Or would it make me somebody who is interested in getting experience in government?

Obama is the one who has taken over the car industry, banking industry and is trying to takeover healthcare. Shouldn't you guys be calling him a fascist?
