That is why we need NPR.
You will NEVER hear any story like this on commercial radio.
All that was available when I was out of the country was CNN in English, CNN in Spanish, and CBS station in NYC.

Half the time all they aired was promos and ads.
Instead of great reporting, they harped incessantly about how great their reporters were.
I saw little evidence of this.
Cable is not worth shit.
